More than a sip of coffee, AFTER SCHOOL cherishes and appreciates Contemporary Art, any kind and anywhere. We wish HK art enthusiasts could reach the world, having a wider and boarder art vision. It is always our dream indeed.

However, the nowadays phenomenon is that the rest of the world knows little about the Asia-Pacific, and, the Asia-Pacific knows little about each others too. This is a great shame, and need to be rectified. Asian artists are now increasingly influential in the world, and exploring the art scene in Asia has actually become a movement in the West. Being part of the Asia-Pacific, it should be time for Hong Kong people to know more about what is happening around the Asia-Pacific.

We are excited to take a step towards our dream. From May 2006, we distribute and provide the subscription service of ARTiT in Hong Kong, a truly innovative Japanese Magazine about Contemporary Asian Art. ARTiT is a visually oriented, fully bilingual (Japanese and English) quarterly magazine introducing the latest trends of contemporary art scenes in Asian cities. ARTiT features interviews with leading artists, in-depth articles on current art-related topics, and exhibition news at top museums and galleries. Art-related professionals would therefore be inspired by its wide and in-depth perspective on Asian contemporary art.
